HTN People and Partnership Awards 2020 Winners Revealed

The innovative HTN People and Partnership Awards 2020 ceremony took place live 22nd January 2020.

The Awards celebrate and showcase exceptional projects, teams, technology and organisations across health and care that are making a real difference.

HTN would like to congratulate everyone who entered, it took weeks to finally select and announce the winners. Here we reveal the winning and highly commended entries:

Overall Winner

  • Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – eHospital Team

Delivering for Front Line Staff

  • Winner: University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust – Analytical Command Centre
  • Highly Commended: Graphnet Health – St Helens Shared Care Record: Health and social care records in one place for safer, better care

Excellence in Implementation

  • Winner: Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – eHospital
  • Highly Commened: Leicestershire Partnership Trust – Pilot of AutoPlanner within continence service to increase productivity and reduce waiting lists

Improving Efficiencies for Back Office Teams

  • Winner: Patchwork – Implementation of an innovative technology solution to transform temporary staffing
  • Highly Commended: Edge Health – Smart Theatre Scheduling with SpaceFinder

Most Promising Solution

  • Winner: Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, The University of Liverpool, Edge Hill University, Lancaster University and System C – Alder Hey first-of-type research to identify early warning signs of deterioration in children
  • Highly Commended: Alphalake Ai – Alphalake Ai Ward Bot Using Attended RPA

Team Work and Collaboration

  • Winner: Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital Foundation Trust – Collaborative Working in Health Care : improving cancer patient experience and outcomes
  • Highly Commended:  Difrent -Delivering the new NHS Jobs service – NHS Business Services Authority in partnership with Difrent

Bright Idea and Innovation

  • Winner:  Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust
  • Highly commeneded: MyMedic – Saving the NHS time and money through a more effective locum management system

Excellence for Patients

  • Winner: AccuRx – Bringing patients and their healthcare teams together
  • Highly Commend: Healthcare Communications and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust – Improving access to care by going digital first with patient letters
