Intechnology announces new people-centred tech project wins

Intechnology has announced a series of new business wins, including a digital service to increase school-age vaccinations across the Humber and a digital service to support anticipatory care at care homes in Northern Ireland.

The company behind Inhealthcare and Insmartcities, focuses on transformation and the delivery of people-centred services that span health and social care boundaries.

Other contracts include a partnership with Amazon and an NHS Trust to improve resuscitation training and an expansion of a digital service to support healthy nutrition at care homes in Scotland.

Bryn Sage, director of Intechnology, said “It’s been a busy start to the year. We are seeing strong demand from NHS organisations and local governments for a joined-up approach to health and care.”

“Our partnerships help people live healthier lives for longer and keep them out of hospital when they do not need to be there, a major challenge of our times. We are spreading the benefits of technology to people who need help the most.”

The company has developed an app to support domiciliary care workers, residents and their families during home visits and an app to support healthy living among people with a genetic risk of cancer.

They have also recently released an NHS look-up service for a provider of mental health technologies and won a contract to deliver a free public WiFi service in London.

The company will be part of  HTN Digital Week June 2020 – find out more later this month when we publish the agenda.
