Hosted document sharing platform launched for free to support healthcare teams during COVID-19 pandemic

An independent document sharing platform has been launched by CCube Solutions to support providers and health professionals access information during the COVID-19 crisis.

The company said it is providing a secure cloud-based platform that is accessible from any device and independently from an IT system to support healthcare professionals access the information they need.

It will provide time limited access to documents in a digital environment, removing the need to move physical paper which can lead to 12-18 contacts and handovers in some organisations.

The service is built in the cloud, documents can be uploaded, shared and viewed to support remote clinics and online consultations. The service will also support GP to GP, Trust/GP to patient and sharing between services.

The service will be available for three months at no cost.

It means clinicians and professionals will have access to digital records anywhere and help reduce and remove face-to-face contact. At the end of the three-month period, an organisation can download the documents directly.

Vijay Magon, CEO, CCube Solutions said “We have launched this service for free so we can help where we can. It’s important that information is available to who needs it and that we reduce contact points and handovers between people wherever possible. The new service supports those who are remote working and transferring pathways to digital.”

“This is a time-limited scanning and hosting service to ensure important information is available where it needs to be. We are working with a number of scanning solution providers, to enable collection, preparation and scanning to the hosted platform for those documents that are needed.”

Jeff Chapman at Scan House Solutions “Our goal during this difficult times is to support the NHS by providing a high quality scanning service, easing some of those immediate business critical needs, and providing a service which is free of charge during this period.”
