NHSX has launched a new market engagement process, prior to a tender launch, inviting suppliers to register their interest in a new Remote Patient Monitoring programme.
The unit is seeking to help scale remote monitoring care across the NHS with a particular focus on COVID-19 patients and the management of patients with Long Term Conditions to support care during the next phases of the pandemic.
Suppliers are being invited to register and apply to the Crown Commercial Service Spark Dynamic Purchasing System here.
Companies must be able to provide evidenced examples of their technology in use, in areas that may include AI, Internet of Things and wearable tech.
The purchasing system is hoped to connect customers and suppliers based on need and capabilities. The deadline for suppliers to express interest is 29th May 2020, with the anticipated contract start to be 30th June 2020, however the dates may change. The value of the contract has not been disclosed. A webinar focusing on the process will be held on 21st May, with details to be published.
