An independent provider with over 50 hospitals has signed a multi-year deal with System C to implement its electronic patient record (EPR) system.
The EPR will be introduced across the hospital group’s 54 hospitals, with the implementation underway. The first phase of the project is expected go-live in June 2023.
The independent provider intends to become paper-free at the point of care, and support its 8,200 staff with the right information at the right time, reduce administration, and introduce mobile technology.
Ben Lloyd, Chief Integration Officer at Circle Health Group, commented: “Everything we do at Circle is focused on providing the people in our care with the best possible experience. There is no room for compromise, and that is the motivation for the digital transformation programme that we have embarked upon.
“Streamlined, simpler processes, and the use of mobile technology, will allow our staff to spend more time doing what they joined the profession to do – providing our patients with exceptional care.”
Nick Wilson, CEO of System C, added: “We are delighted to be working with Circle Health Group, which is so widely regarded throughout the UK for its commitment to clinical excellence and patient care. We share their vision of putting patients firmly at the centre of everything that we do and look forward to working on this project together, to enable staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for their patients.”
