Private eye clinics implement electronic health record

OCL Vision, a specialist group of eye surgeons, has partnered with Streets Heaver to implement its electronic health record and patient administration system, across their private eye care facilities in Hertfordshire and London.

It means the private eye clinics will manage all aspects of patient care through the platform, from appointment scheduling, invoicing, billing and electronic patient records.

The company said the solution will help optimise the way OCL Vision manages clinical data, administrative tasks and patient records, with the overall goal to improve administrative processes.

The implementation is set to take place over the next few months.

Paresh Patel, CEO of OCL Vision, says that they chose Compucare “as it gives us the best solution to manage the many facets of our business.” OCL Vision add that they expect the partnership to take their services “to a higher level” and strengthen their position as an eye care provider in the UK.

Benedict Heaver, managing director of Streets Heaver, added: “Compucare is a powerful and comprehensive solution that is continuously developed in-house, allowing it to evolve alongside our clients’ needs. We believe that our partnership with OCL Vision will be a great success and we look forward to working closely with them moving forward.”
