Join us on 19 September for HTN Now: live webinars and research on a range of health tech topics

Join us tomorrow (Tuesday 19 September) for our latest HTN Now event – a day of live webinars and research on a variety of digital health topics, including reducing the productivity slump at go-live, the importance of Privileged Access Management (PAM), and the clinical impact of asking wellbeing vs vital signs.

At 10am, our agenda begins with a discussion from Ideal Health on how to plan an EPR training rollout, including embracing learning as a continuous journey and making essential investments in training for long-term benefits.

At 11am, Kathrin Cresswell  from the University of Edinburgh discusses their work in Bermuda, and the opportunities and challenges for national digital health strategies in small island states. During this session, Kathrin will share how their team has conducted a current state and needs assessment of digital health for the healthcare workforce, to inform the development of the national strategy. They join HTN to report on the outcomes of this work.

At 12pm, our session with Imprivata looks at the importance of Privileged Access Management in an effective cyber risk management strategy, and its pivotal role in protecting key assets, systems and people.

At 1pm, NHS England Blueprinting Team and Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust join us to discuss the ways in which community nursing and therapy services are benefiting from optimisation of the electronic roster and implementation of electronic job planning, giving them access to digital tools and information to ensure more efficient workforce planning.

For our final session at 2pm, Sean Davies, directorate manager of cardiology at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, shares how using intelligent health messaging for patients diagnosed with heart failure has benefitted both the clinical team and patients.
