NHS England has published an opportunity for services to support a cyber security focused programme and assurance model, as part of efforts to appoint a call-off contract with one provider, worth an estimated £4,290,000.
Through the procurement, NHSE seeks to contract consultants to support with the delivery of design, consultation, development, iteration and support with regards to piloting the identification of “critical supplier approach” along with piloting of an assurance model. There is also a need for education and training support, the development of all education, training and awareness materials.
NHSE states that the provider will be required to support across several domains, helping to complete work packages across three years with potential of a fourth year. The notice goes on to specify that the contracted service will largely be focused on providing support around the critical supplier assurance and framework; supplier risk support processes; and standardisation of contract and framework clauses.
