First team of judges for Health Tech Awards 2020 announced

HTN is delighted to announce the first team of judges to support the Health Tech Awards 2020 judging process.

The innovative Health Tech Awards 2020, supported by CCube Soltuions and Highland Marketing, celebrate great technology and innovation making a difference across health and care.

The first team of judges includes:

  • Cindy Fedell, Chief Digital and Information Officer, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS FT
  • Graham Walsh, Chief Clinical Information Officer, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS FT
  • Gary Price, Director of Operations, Liverpool Women’s NHS FT
  • Joe Harrison, CEO, Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS FT
  • Neil Perry, Director of Digital Transformation (CIO), Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust
  • Paul Jones, Chief Digital and Information Officer, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Phil Milverton, Chief Information Officer, Digital Healthcare Services, Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust
  • Christine Walters, Director of Informatics, St Helens & Knowsley Health Informatics Service
  • Dr Gurkaran Samra, Clinical Informatician, Deputy QI lead (Medical education), Medical Registrar AMU, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
  • Trish Cavanagh, Chief Operating Officer, Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT
  • Dr Sarah Whiteman, Medical Director, Luton and Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Professor Paul Dimitri, Professor of Child Health & Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology, Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust
  • Dr Sunil Gupta, GP, Chair of Castle Point and Rochford CCG

During March we will be announcing a further team of judges to support the awards process, and to ensure we have a team of judges from a variety of backgrounds and settings across health and care.

The awards, now in its fourth year, provide a great platform to showcase and share your work. There are 17 categories to choose from to enter ahead of the deadline at 23:59 12th June 2020 and anyone can join us live on 8th October for our innovative digital awards evening.

In 2019 it was fantastic to share and celebrate many great initiatives, projects, pilots, teams and innovations making a real difference – you can read about the winners here.
