Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has chosen ReStart to provide technical consulting, managed services and integration solutions.
The trust will use the solution from Restart to migrate over 170 interfaces from a previous solution to InterSystems’ Health Connect.
ReStart has also been contracted to provide 24hr managed services and is partnering to support GSTT with technical integrations.
Gary McAllister, Chief Technology Officer, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, said: “The partnership with ReStart and their expertise in integration, technical consulting and support is mission-critical. The work we are doing with ReStart will be the enabler for Guy’s and St Thomas’s data sharing and collaboration systems and lay the digital foundations for the success of the EPIC EPR.”
“We have strong digital ambitions for both the trust and the wider NHS community within South London, ReStart’s work to migrate to Health Connect will accelerate several data sharing projects, including the South East London LHCRE.”
The company said: “The implementation of Health Connect and ReStart’s IMX will be key for the delivery of further interoperability projects, including data collaboration and sharing.”
Earlier in the month HTN reported Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS FT announced a new partnership with Epic to implement a new single integrated electronic health record system, with a planned go-live in April 2023.
