Lexmark partners with NHS Shared Business Services in managed print services

Lexmark has announced a partnership with NHS Shared Business Services to support its aim of meeting paperless and digital targets, while delivering savings, efficiencies and improving patient care.

“We are really excited about our partnership with Lexmark, which will help NHS organisations to deliver real and evidenced savings and efficiencies,” said Beth Loudon, head of procurement development and sourcing at NHS Shared Business Services.

“Our procurement services are in the process of transforming, and innovative partnerships like this one demonstrate how combining the strengths of two great organisations can deliver powerful outcomes.”

The partnership utilises the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust Commercial Procurement Healthcare Content Management Framework, which includes Lexmark Managed Print Services as a key component, as well as other document workflow technology.

“As the NHS moves towards more collaboration, it is essential that partnerships such as this enable the NHS to become more adaptable and able to respond to change using new technology and innovations,” said Andrew O’Connor, director of commercial procurement services at Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust.
