ELMO Group acquires Rotageek

In a move to expand its delivery of intelligent workforce management solutions across the UK, ELMO Group has announced its acquisition of Rotageek and its AI-powered intelligent scheduling engine, aiming to deliver an intelligent end-to-end platform for rostering and scheduling.

Rotageek, founded in 2009, was initially used as a smart scheduling tool for A&E departments, before developing into a workforce management platform using algorithms to create “demand-led rotas” with the goal of reducing manual admin. The company noted that these capabilities will now be utilised in supporting ELMO Group’s ability to deliver advanced rostering and scheduling solutions to organisations across the UK.

Chris McCullough, CEO at Rotageek, added that joining the ELMO Group marks “an exciting new chapter”, stating:From day one, our mission has been to help businesses schedule intelligently, using data, AI and design thinking to solve real-world workforce challenges. In ELMO, we’ve found a partner who shares that vision and brings the scale, ambition and platform to take it further. Together with Breathe HR and ELMO UK, we’re building the most comprehensive HR technology ecosystem in the UK, one that spans every stage of growth, from frontline teams to head office. We’re energised by what this means for our customers, our team, and the future of workforce management.”
