South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has opened a procurement for a digital consent and sharing decision making solution with an estimated total value of £135,000.
The trust is calling for the submission of tenders from interested suppliers, with a contract to be awarded to run from January 2027 for 36 months. This initial period may then be followed by two 12-month extension periods, according to the trust, taking it to January 2032.
The closing date for submissions is 29 September 2026 at 3pm.
In March, the trust shared news on how women receiving maternity care can now share regular feedback on their pregnancy experience through an upgraded feature in an app that supports women throughout their maternity journey. The trust said the app also gives women the option to share comments on their care at any stage of their pregnancy journey.
Laura Stephenson, digital midwife, added: “Listening to the women we care for is vital. Feedback is the best way for us to understand what we’re doing well and where we can improve. We always encourage women to tell us what’s working and what could be better.”
