Keynote Digital Primary Care

Dr Minal Bakhai, Director of Primary Care Transformation at NHS England

The model of accessing care in general practice has changed during the last two years, although this built on changes already underway. As a result, general practice requires a new model that encompasses digital routes and uses triage and navigation to direct patients to the right clinician or service, and that responds better to need, urgency and individual patient’s circumstances.

During this session Minal will explore what a good digital experience for patients in general practice looks like, and how general practice can be supported to achieve this, such as drawing on learning from evidence and through increasing capacity.
