Building the foundations for scaled AI implementation
Artificial Intelligence has significant potential in eyecare and ophthalmology (which is the largest medical outpatient specialty). Successfully implementing AI will bring many challenges, and extracting benefit from AI will require significant changes in how we organise our services. In this talk, we will look at the applications of AI in eyecare, and consider how the broader healthcare system might have to change to make sure that implementations are successful and safe.
