The plans confirm a new app to provide secure access to online health services through the Personalised Health and Care 2020 programme and other key national projects.
The roadmap confirms Free NHS Wifi will be available nationally in all GP Practices in the first quarter. The new NHS.UK website will go live in the third quarter and there will be a New NHS Choices API available in the next quarter.
During the first quarter of 2018-19, the NHS will also launch in an alpha the citizen ID project, which will provide a single central verification method for people to securely access online health services.
