Over the weekend there was a severity 1 national outage on NHSmail, NHS Digital has stated following an issue with the supplier system.

Users struggled to receive updates on the NHS Digital website and those subscribed to SMS messages could receive updates in that way.
Many users were also locked out of their accounts but were unlocked by 10:30pm on Saturday night.
NHS Digital stated on Sunday that all users could now access the NHSmail system.
