To begin, we’re starting the day with the latest edition of our Let’s Talk podcast, in which we interview Dr Janak Gunatilleke, director for healthcare data and analytics at KPMG and author of ‘Artificial intelligence in healthcare: unlocking its potential’. At 9am, we’ll publish our latest special report, an editorial exploration of the latest news and research in the world of health tech artificial intelligence.

At 11am we welcome Mark Ratnarajah from C2-Ai for a live webinar discussion on how the waiting list at Cheshire and Merseyside ICS is being turned into a ‘preparation list’, with focus on how smart triage and digital health coaching is improving patient outcomes and reducing elective surgery waiting times.

At 1pm, we are joined by Peter Thomas, CCIO and director of digital medicine at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Peter will be discussing how to build foundations for scaled AI implementation, looking at the applications of AI in healthcare and considering how the broader healthcare system might have to change to make sure that implementations are successful and safe.

At 2pm, we’ll share a write-up covering Dr Hatim Abdulhussein’s discussion on how AI can be used to improve health equity. Hatim is the national clinical lead for AI and digital media workforce at Health Education England’s Directorate of Innovation, Digital and Transformation.

At 3pm we have our final webinar of the day, a session with the NHS England Blueprinting Team in collaboration with Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. They will discuss the NHS England Blueprinting programme, library and documents; an overview of Skunkworks and AI; the benefits of AI in digital healthcare projects; examples of AI projects and success stories; and how AI can help programmes work together to capture good practice.
