Circle Health introduces patient recorded outcomes measures platform

Circle Health Group has partnered with My Clinical Outcomes to introduce its patient recorded outcomes measures platform across Circle Health’s 54 hospitals.

Launched across Circle Health’s hospitals in May, the project aims to improve clinical outcomes and data capture, “from identifying unwarranted variation in surgical results, to automatic data submissions and registering group-wide results with registries and regulators”.

In addition, Circle Health said it expects to the solution will support managing and tracking consultant performance, and help to understand trends in patients to ensure the safe operation of a hospital and network.

Commenting on the project, Peter James, group medical director at Circle Health Group, said: “Collecting and analysing outcome data is key to ensuring we continue to meet the needs of the patients we see every day. The partnership with My Clinical Outcomes promises to transform our ability to track, collect and monitor the performance of our hospitals and ultimately help us to continue offering outstanding care to the communities we serve.”

My Clinical Outcomes’ CEO, Tim Williams, added: “My Clinical Outcomes makes outcomes measurement a routine part of patient care, delivering regulatory compliance and actionable outcomes analytics. We are excited to partner with Circle Health Group as part of their digital transformation to help them continue to ensure and evidence the highest quality care for all their patients.”

HTN last reported on digital transformation at Circle Health in January, when the company announced a partnership with Radar Healthcare, to introduce its risk management and compliance system.
