Earlier in the week, we covered how the Crown Commercial Service is to open a £12 billion tender for technology services to be used by the central government and UK public sector bodies.

We also shared how Sussex Community NHS Trust and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust opened a joint tender to procure a dental patient management software service, with a deadline to apply by 18 September.

On a wider radiology note, last year we highlighted how Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust signed a 10-year partnership agreement with GE Healthcare with the aim to “transform radiology services”, including through a Radiology Managed Service covering “120 pieces of radiology equipment and a command centre to provide staff with advanced analytics and a patient overview”.

Radiology was also a theme in our interview with Robert Miller, CEO of Wellbeing Software/Citadel Health; Robert discussed the role of AI in supporting consultant workload and how AI can be incorporated into existing radiology workflows.
