Barts Health holds ‘hospital of the future’ workshop, utilising video generated by AI

Barts Health NHS Trust recently held an interactive workshop on ‘the hospital of the future’, with staff representing the breadth of the organisation coming together to discuss transformation of service.

Easing the administrative burden and utilising new technologies were topics included in the discussion, with Barts Health Education Academy sharing a video generated by artificial intelligence focusing on the evolution of technology to showcase what tech can do.

The trust highlighted that following the video generated by AI, the workshop generated a “host of ideas for improving the way we work on our existing sites”, with deputy group chief medical officer Magda Smith noting that it was “the first time in her career she had witnessed multi-professional co-operation on such scale”.
