Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit has awarded a contract with a value of £400,000 for an eating disorder app, to charitable organisation First Steps ED.
Based in Derby, First Steps ED provides digital support to children who are either waiting for or stepping down from eating disorder treatment from child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). The organisation’s website describes how First Steps ED offers a range of services at various tiers, including counselling and psychotherapy, befriending and psycho-education workshops, and is experienced in delivering support both online and in person.
The newly-published contract award notice shares how the four-year contract runs between April 2023 to the end of March 2027.
