Interweave has announced a number of selected suppliers for procurements across infrastructure, portal, care planning, data aggregation, and messaging.
The procurements are reportedly hoped to help toward Interweave’s ambition of providing a “vendor agnostic” technology platform, with preferred bidders selected for four different lots covering specialised areas of the platform. The selected suppliers have “expressed a willingness to work together”, Interweave reports.
Aire Logic has been successful in securing the contract in lot one, for Interweave Exchange and Interweave Connect, representing the data aggregation platform and messaging tool. Synanetics has been selected for lot two, covering the Interweave Portal.
The contract for lot three is awarded to CGI for infrastructure and the supporting cloud platform, and the successful supplier for lot four is Black Pear, funded by West Yorkshire ICB for initial implementation supporting enhanced neighbourhood working.
According to Interweave, incumbent supplier Synanetics will continue to take responsibility during the onboarding process for service delivery, ensuring a smooth transition and protecting service continuity.
On LinkedIn, the company shared excitement about the outcome of the procurement process. “This strengthens our commitment to a vendor-agnostic platform and introduces a range of specialist partners (subject to contract) to support our future development,” it outlined.
Deputy CIO Ian Clucas notes the procurement marks an “important milestone” in Interweave’s development, adding: “By bringing together a group of specialist suppliers, we’re strengthening the platform’s foundations and ensuring it remains responsive to the needs of our partners and the populations they serve.”
