Video: “Innovation and collaboration can help to build a fairer and healthier world”

Highland Marketing and industry partners shared a video message to express their support for the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) goals for global health equality, on the latest World Health Day.

For the day of international awareness earlier this week, on 7 April 2021, the WHO launched its new campaign to ‘build a fairer, healthier world’.

Great work from health professionals around the world was highlighted, as well as the stark health inequalities that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The WHO is asking global leaders to ‘ensure that everyone has living and working conditions that are conducive to good health’, to ‘monitor health inequities’, and to make sure that ‘all people are able to access quality health services when and where they need them’.

Mark Venables, CEO, Highland Marketing, said: “The past year has highlighted some of the inequalities, nationally and internationally, surrounding the health of different people and communities, and the ability to access suitable healthcare services. The World Health Organisation’s vision is to tackle this, and it is calling on leaders to ensure that everyone has living and working conditions that are conducive to good health.

“We, at Highland Marketing, along with our clients, support this vision and hope that to celebrate World Health Day and look to the future, innovation and collaboration can help to build a fairer and healthier world.”

Industry partners featured in the video include representatives of SilverCloud, Fujitsu, Orion Health, Gemserv, uPerform, WiFi Spark, the Institute of Health and Social Care Management, Dell Technologies, C2-Ai, First Databank, Alcidion, Visionable, and Sectra.
