The new Digital First Online Consultation and Video Consultation (DFOCVC) framework, primarily focused on supporting CCGs and GP practices, has now listed 21 solutions following its assurance process.
The framework aims to support general practice purchase of online consultation and video consultation systems, with the longer-term intention to become a route to procurement for wider healthcare settings, including secondary care, community pharmacy and others.
The buying catalogue became active on 26 April, with supplier results of the assurance process being published each week, and with more expected to be assured and added to the framework shortly.
One supplier added yesterday, Wellola, announced the news of their solution being approved for the framework, and the buying catalogue detailing its solutions. The company was assured for the two categories ‘video consultation’ and ‘online consultation’, with the buying guide detailing the criteria its solutions met – for example, to include attachments in online consultation requests, the ability to share files and receive patient feedback.
