Feature Series: Supporting ICS digital strategies

Here you’ll find all our latest features that focus on the way technologies and health tech companies can support integrated care systems (ICSs) and health leaders’ related digital strategies.

Through this channel, we’ll be sharing expert comment, opinion pieces, case studies, tips, guides, news and learnings that concentrate on the part technology will have to play, or is already playing, for organisations and their ability to collaborate and provide joined-up, localised care that crosses boundaries.

It’s important to give industry suppliers a platform alongside healthcare providers and health tech experts, to showcase the array of solutions that are available to support better and more integrated care going forwards – or simply to glean insight from their experiences, ideas and trend predictions.

ICSs represent both the bigger picture and the more localised one, so our features will aim to reflect that changing landscape and the way technologies can enable organisational-level transformation. Our expert commentators will discuss challenges – and solutions – for those already well underway with their ICS journey, and for those at the beginning.

Now that the roll-out of the NHS’s 42 integrated care systems is complete, attention is understandably turning to the plans to introduce a statutory footing, so we aim to provide an extensive resource and snapshot of the ICS tech world, and provide a place for professionals in the sector to discuss the changes and what it all means, as well as to share successes and learn from each other.

Stay tuned for updates to this ICS-focused section, where we’ll be covering everything from decision and workflow support, change management and related tech, through to digital inclusivity and accessibility, interoperability and integrated data, population health and patient pathways, and much more.
