ILUX, an IT firm that provides consulting, technology and support services has reached a significant milestone in helping to transform patient care across 20 kidney dialysis clinics through the design and deployment of advanced IT systems.
Working in partnership with NHS England and renal services provider Diaverum, ILUX’s specialist knowledge around data, application and hardware integrations, Wi-Fi and digital signage has enabled the clinics to deliver improved patient care and give clinicians access to real-time data.
Speaking about the expertise provided by ILUX, Diaverum’s Managing Director, Michael Hartnett, said: “ILUX has really helped us to gain a competitive advantage with our overall business strategy using technology. Most of our clinics now have integrated systems, and the level of manual data entry our nurses have to perform has reduced significantly. We’ve gone from being seen as inadequate in certain areas of our technology to being best in class.”
More recently, ILUX has also deployed clinics in Majorca and New Zealand. It has increased its headcount with key appointments to its management team and is looking to expand its engineering team to support the increased customer demand.
ILUX Managing Director, James Tilbury, said “It’s been a great year for ILUX and being able to help improve patient care with better IT systems has been especially rewarding. We’re now looking forward to supporting the rollout of more clinics, and expanding our operations throughout 2017.”
