Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has chosen to adopt Insource’s configurable Patient Pathway Plus (PP+) application to help the trust to proactively manage and accurately report its elective care and Referral-to-Treatment (RTT) patient pathways.
Sarah Brisbane, Head of Contracts at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust explained, “We are very excited to be adopting Patient Pathway Plus, which comes highly recommended by other leading trusts. Through PP+ creating a single version of the truth, together with its workflow and pathway event management capability, we will have one trusted patient tracking list giving us the confidence that we are proactively managing our patients.”
The solution eliminates the risk of patients getting ‘lost in the system’, the PP+ central digital hub supports workflow for streamlined elective care management. The sophisticated platform at the heart of the Insource suite targets the root causes of poor data quality to provide accurate data for better managing elective care and RTT. Reduction in manual effort, human error and associated risks to patient safety quickly translates into measurable financial benefit.
Jackie Sawyer, Co-Founder of Insource, said of this latest rollout of Patient Pathway Plus, “We are delighted to have Royal Papworth join the Patient Pathway Plus user community. Each new trust adopting one or more of our modules further strengthens the value of the proposition to the NHS by accelerating interoperability and collaboration between as well as within trusts.”
