Amazon Web Services has announced 23 health tech start-ups to join is latest accelerator programme specifically focusing on workforce solutions.
The technical, business, and mentorship programme aims to support suppliers in advancing their solutions and accelerating growth using the cloud. This latest programme covers solutions for workforce retention, workforce deployment and workforce training.
The health tech start-ups joining the programme across the three domains include:
Workforce retention
- Momo Medical – an app to track bed movement and activity levels
- eConsult – digital triage and consultation platform
- Navenio – location based solution to support patient flow
- babblevoice – primary care telephony
- RxPlace – marketplace to manage pharmacy operations
- Dropstat – AI staffing solution
- Hypercare – mobile collaboration tools
- SQUID iQ – a platform to integrate siloed data and automate workflows
- Doc Abode – workforce management software
Workforce deployment
- Rose Health – behaviour health monitoring solution
- IoT Solutions Group – intervention and monitoring system
- PathologyWatch – dermatology workflow tool
- The TeleDentists – delivering virtual dental care
- Visionable – video streaming solutions
- InformMe – digital patient communication
- Mytonomy – video based patient engagement tool
- Kare Mobile – mobile dentistry
- Supportiv – emotional and social support platform
Workforce training
- Grapefruit Health – national workforce composed completely of clinical students
- MOONHUB – virtual reality platform supporting dementia care
- Proximie – allows clinicians to ‘scrub in’ virtually
- Compassly – applications to support compliance
- Florence – virtual training solution
To support the programme, 14 mentors have been recruited: American Hospital Association, CATI, Deloitte, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board, Hospital Albert Einstein, Humana, Intermountain Ventures, Mass General Brigham, Northern Care Alliance, Philips, Provincial Health Services Authority of British Columbia, Rock Health, Royal Papworth Hospital, and Savvy Cooperative.
