NHS England has published a preliminary market engagement notice expressing its intent to procure digital therapeutics solutions for menopause.
At this stage, the financial aspects of the procurement remain undefined, according to NHS England. Contract dates are also yet to be agreed, with an estimated date for publication of the tender notice given as 1 December 2026.
As part of the engagement, suppliers are asked for details of their organisation and product offerings, before being asked questions about barriers to the scaled adoption of digital CBT technologies within the menopause pathway, and the commercial models and approaches most suited to facilitating this scaled adoption.
NHS England also seeks to understand “benefits or disbenefits” in terms of patients, productivity, clinical, or commercial elements, to specifying solutions outside of digital CBT for menopause, and details of rough order of magnitude pricing in line with bidding one national price for a product.
“All questions are optional, and any feedback received will be used for information purposes only. Feedback will not be evaluated or scored, and it will have no bearing on any potential future contract award,” NHS England states. Wider trend: NHS procurement
NHS England has published a contract worth an estimated £600,000, aiming to source an “evaluation partner” for the Federated Data Platform (FDP) programme. According to the contract, the evaluation partner will be required to demonstrate the programme’s current and future impact, assessing whether it has achieved its objectives. The scope extends to capturing key learnings, and demonstrating value for money and accountability to its stakeholders, NHS England continues.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has shared its intention to procure a cloud-based digital records solution via a prior information notice for potential suppliers. The health board is looking to procure the solution to support the digitisation, secure storage, and lifecycle management of its legacy paper-based records, it notes. The contract notice is expected to be published at the beginning of November 2026, and suppliers can register their interest via the Public Contracts Scotland website.
Hywel Dda University Health Board has awarded a five year contract worth £194,325 to Meta Compliance for a platform promoting cyber resilience against phishing attacks through training and reporting. The contract means licences will be renewed across the health board, allowing digital services to train staff on identifying phishing attacks and responding “with confidence”, providing training content around awareness and reporting.
