Panel Discussion: Women and health tech

12:00 -1:00 pm, 7th March 2024

Does digital have a role to play in helping to bridge the gender health gap?

Join HTN and a panel of experts for a thought-provoking discussion into the role of digital in women’s healthcare. We’ll ask how can services be shaped to support women, the role that tech providers can play and how challenges can be addressed, and we’ll discuss the first ever government-led Women’s Health Strategy for England launched in July 2022, which aims to drive systemic changes so that the health needs of women and girls will be better met. Can technology underpin these changes, are there any examples of this in practice, or what could this look like?

The Panellists:

  • Kim Ashall, Head of Virtual Ward, North West Anglia Foundation Trust, Programme Lead for Virtual Ward for C&P ICB
  • Natalie Duffield, Director, Inhealthcare
  • Sally Robinson, Head of Strategy & Best Practice at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Dr Victoria Betton, director, PeopleDotCom
  • Amy Archer-Williams, head of writing, HTN
