We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and pro-active Director of Partnerships, who will lead the development of existing strategic partnerships, as well as identifying and driving forward new and innovative collaborations and opportunities.
This will include identifying and influencing opportunities for new alliances and strategies for raising revenue, ensuring that the Trust is well placed to contribute to the Long Term Plan and the changing NHS architecture. Key responsibilities will be to identify, create and strengthen key strategic partnerships, as well as identifying and driving through future collaborations. For the first 12 -24 months, this role will concentrate on the operational delivery of the initiatives of the Mental Health Partnership with Isle of Wight NHS Trust, working closely with the CFO of Solent and the Director of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities of Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As such, we are looking for someone who can facilitate the necessary cultural transformation and change required in these partnership arrangements. Flexibility to travel and experience of working in a matrix environment is a must.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you hold a Master Degree in Mental Health or have an equivalent level of knowledge and expertise, particular in the leadership of diverse Mental Health teams and services. We require a proven track record of developing and implementing operational strategies, which delivers transformational and long lasting change. Therefore we are looking for individuals who have you have a significant senior management experience and have a track record of achievement in delivering strategic objectives. Significant travel is also expected in this role
Your role will work directly with the Trust Board, Executive Team and senior leaders across Solent NHS Trust’s and partnership agencies. In addition to working with the CFO, Contracts and Corporate Governance teams to achieve and maintain financial sustainability, taking accountability for adherence to the departmental budget and management of expenditure.
