This session will focus on the role of digital in empowering patients, and consider what “good” looks like for digital patient journeys. We’ll explore the ways digital is currently being used to empower patients, the successful use of digital tools in helping patients to take control of their own health, and key challenges around engagement, training, ethics, privacy, and more.

Along with our panel of experts, we’ll look at some of the innovative approaches to digital empowerment taking place across the NHS, some outcomes they’ve offered for patients, and how they’re helping the NHS to meet rising demand on services.
