There’s been a lot of talk about virtual wards over the last few months but now it’s time to get down to the business of delivering them. In this webinar Inhealthcare will be focusing on how to roll out a virtual ward. They’ll consider lessons learnt from the pandemic, how these can be incorporated and demo a virtual ward to show one in action.

A population health and patient conversation focused ICS digital framework

This session will consider the importance of population health and patient engagement channels in the context of the ICS digital eco-system. The concept of case management will be discussed as an essential element of managing patient pathways within and across ICS boundaries. The question of how patients will be managing the NHS app, EPR-specific patient portals and virtual ward systems in their home will be raised.

We are joined by Victoria Komolafe, Professional Advisor (Digital) for the Royal College of Midwives, and Victoria Mustafa, Maternity Programmes Manager and Digital Midwife for NHS South West London, to discuss their experiences in digital midwifery and their hopes for the future.

Balancing patient care and service demand with flow management

More and more NHS trusts have been turning to technology to help modernise and improve patient flow across hospitals and into the community, in line with the NHS elective recovery plan. Presented by Alcidion, this webinar will provide perspectives from Dr Paul Deffley, Alcidion UK CMO and Katy Cain, Alcidion Head of UK Clinical Consulting on the positive impact that flow technology has on NHS services. It will explore how healthcare organisations can manage patient care and available resources effectively and efficiently, how clinical teams quickly see and act on what they need to do for patients, how hospitals are tackling national priorities (like the elective backlog) and what integrated care systems gain from using flow technologies.
