Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has appointed Ingenica Solutions as its new inventory management solution provider.
The project will see the implementation of Ingenica Solutions’ 360 IM across the entire trust to track and trace inventory to the patient level; understanding what products have been used, when, where, and on which patients.
The implementation is due to commence immediately and is set to transform supply chain and procurement efficiencies, secure long-term cost savings and improve patient safety for the Trust.
Tanya Lane, head of procurement at the Trust said, “We were impressed by the depth and breadth of functionality of the solution. We listened to the views of other trusts that already work with Ingenica Solutions, which provided us with confidence that we have selected a strong provider with a compelling track record of successful implementations and proven returns on investment.”
Damien Marmion, CEO, at Ingenica Solutions “We deliver the best, most functionality-rich solution in the NHS, to help trusts improve the way in which inventory is managed and stored. As health secretary Matt Hancock recently acknowledged, better tracking and tracing of medical devices to the patient level is of great importance to save the NHS money and improve patient safety, and Ingenica Solutions is extremely proud to have been chosen by KGH to help the Trust reach their ambitions in this area.”
