PHE publishes new data tool looking at the wider impacts of COVID-19 on health

Public Health England has published a new data tool looking at the wider impacts of COVID-19 on health.

The tool focuses on a range of topics from alcohol consumption to physical activity and mental wellbeing. The data highlights how lives and habits have changed during the pandemic.

The resource was updated last week to include: measures of wellbeing, grocery purchasing trends, alcohol sales and consumption, mobility trends, access to green space, smoking status and smoking habits, homeschooling, time spent doing activities and measures of impact on business.

The dashboard will help monitor changes over time and support the understanding of the wider context of population health.
