Hampshire and Isle of Wight CCGs award GP IT support services contract

Hampshire and Isle of Wight CCGs have awarded a contract for GP IT support services to Healthcare Computing and NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands CSU.

The companies will be be supporting the CCGS with local IT services and to support their Primary Care Digital Roadmap.

The five-year contract will see Healthcare Computing and NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands CSU provide GP IT support services for seven CCGs across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

It covers 228 GP sites with services including: IT support and service desk, IT equipment and asset management, software and licence management, NHS Mail administration and support, IT infrastructure, server management, clinical systems, cyber security, information governance as well as management of the Health and Social Care Network.

The contract goes live in July 2021.
