Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has gone live with the mental health module of SystmOne.
Last year the trust signed a five-year deal with TPP to deploy the electronic patient record across its mental health and disability services, including the provision of the partnership’s three GP practices.
The next phase of the programme will see the trust deploy additional functionality, including electronic prescribing and medicines administration, mobile working and a patient portal.
Anushta Sivananthan, CWP Medical Director, said: “We look forward to continuing to work with TPP as we further develop our configuration of SystmOne. Our aim is to provide the best possible care for the people we serve and as we look to roll out the additional functionality available through SystmOne this will allow us to better support our people to work in a more person-centred way.”
Abigail Palin, Account Manager at TPP, added: “TPP is pleased to see Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust going live with SystmOne Mental Health. The trust’s staff and patients will benefit from integrated care in the area as well as a system that provides comprehensive support to staff, giving them more time to focus on delivering well-informed patient care.”
In other news, HTN last month reported on an update that is being made for patients to access new entries made in TPP and EMIS health records.
During the year, HTN explored health tech programmes across the Wirral, when we interviewed Janelle Holmes, CEO, Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust recently, where she shared her thoughts on tech and digital programmes, as well as what it was like being one of the first trusts in the UK to take in COVID-19 patients. In January 2021, we also held a session with Paul Charnley, Digital Lead for Cheshire & Merseyside Health & Care Partnership, providing an overview of the digital programmes across the area.
