Health Education England and the AI Centre for Value Based Healthcare have opened applications to the Fellowships in Clinical Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme.
The programme aims to support medical and dental trainees to develop their expertise in clinical AI in an integrated pathway alongside their specialty training. It hopes to support the implementation of AI technologies over a 12 month initiative, where fellows are supported with the safe deployment, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical AI software in a live hospital environment.
Joining the programme fellows can expect a curriculum of support through all stages of an artificial intelligence product lifecycle, and academic support from King’s College London’s Innovation Scholars Programme in Artificial Intelligence.
It hopes to attract 18 fellows across Health Education England regions: London, East of England, East Midlands and West Midlands, Kent Surrey Sussex, Thames Valley, and Southwest.
