Here’s what we’ve got coming up over the next few weeks.
18 July, 1pm – 2pm: combating ransomware in healthcare with network detection and response (NDR) technology
Through this session, cyber security expert Chad Holmes (interviewed by HTN here) will examine the impact of cyber attacks and the limitations of current defences, as well as sharing insight into NDR tech. Join us to develop your understanding of the evolving threat landscape, as well as how technology can help you protect patients, systems and finances.
24 July, 10am – 11am: simplifying the referral process to support right care, first time
This webinar will look into the challenges around the NHS referral process and share practical advice on how to reduce the time to refer; how to use the right pathway according to local guidance; how to track and report on referrals; and how to manage changes within pathways.
24 July, 1pm – 2pm: connecting care and extending EPR value through mobility and connected devices
In this panel discussion, health tech professionals will highlight various strategies for widening the benefits of the EPR using mobility and connected devices. We’ll discuss understanding clinical workflows in relation to the EPR, and hear recommendations from practising clinicians on how to streamline workflows and utilise mobile and connected devices for a better user experience. Panellists will also discuss driving operational efficiency to maximise the value of the EPR investment, along with how to measure return on investment, usability and adoption.
6 August, 10am – 11am: will the reality of AI live up to current hype, and how do you manage bias in healthcare data?
With the role of artificial intelligence a hot topic across the healthcare space, this panel discussion will discuss their experiences with AI and insights into the potential of AI to support health, as well as the challenges in this space and how they could be managed. The panel will also discuss the importance of recognising bias in healthcare data, ways in which this can happen, and how we can mitigate against it.
7 August, 10am – 11am: innovation in primary care
What’s new in the primary care space? What would healthcare professionals like to see happening in this space with regards to digital and data? In this panel discussion we will hear insight from the NHS and Digital Health and Care Wales.
7 August, 1pm – 2pm: an overview of the Medway & Swale Health Hub (Kent and Medway eHub programme)
For this webinar we are joined by members of the NHS blueprinting team as well as representatives from NHS Kent and Medway ICB region, as they discuss how the ICB developed their eHub programme – a clinically-led innovative solution that showcases a new operating model at scale, having successfully transitioned into a business as usual service.
