System C has appointed Guy Lucchi as their new Managing Director of Healthcare, leading the healthcare division with a particular focus on supporting the company’s customers to achieve higher levels of digitisation.
Guy Lucchi was previously joint Digital Innovation Director for Health Innovation Manchester and Chief Digital Officer for the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
In his role, Guy was responsible for co-creating the health and care digital strategy and associated digital transformation plan across the £6bn devolved health and care system. The transformation plan accelerated innovation across Greater Manchester and was targeted towards improving health outcomes for 2.8 million citizens.
Before that, Guy was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with DXC Technology, leading digital healthcare and life sciences initiatives across the Group. A notable achievement was his role in DXC’s product portfolio which led to significant digitisation of administration and EPR systems across much of the NHS.
“I’m delighted to be joining System C,” Guy commented, “and my first programme of work will be leading the development of an innovative design and deployment blueprint for our integrated EPR that will enable trusts to identify gaps and create a comprehensive, actionable digital transformation roadmap. I’m looking forward to meeting with our customers and sharing more detail.”
Nick Wilson, CEO of System C, added: “I’m pleased to be welcoming Guy to the team at a very exciting time. The work we have done over previous years means we now have everything required to support NHS trusts and other hospital customers to achieve the upper echelons of digitisation.
“Alongside System C’s Liquidlogic integrated social care solution, our Care Alliance partnerships, including the CareCentric shared care record, Population Health and Docobo’s remote patient management are the other pieces of the jigsaw required by our Trusts to achieve HIMSS 7 accreditation and the MDF requirements.”
