Research highlights current state of mobile working for GPs

Recent research from Egton has highlighted the current state of mobile working and technology following a survey conducted with 1,003 UK GPs in August 2018.

When asked about mobile working 70% said they see technology as important to facilitating mobile care, with 34% of the audience having said the need to take mobile visits has increased.

However 41% of GPs have more than 6 appointments a week outside of the practice walls and a staggering 69% said they are not equipped with the right technology.

A trend in the research featured within the infographic below highlights that clinicians feel mobile care is important, yet feel they are not equipped with the technology to do so. The infographic highlights the trends of mobile working and the views of GPs across the country.
