NHS England shares £60k opportunity for interactive e-learning for allied health professionals

NHS England has published an opportunity for suppliers to create an online learning resource for allied health professionals (AHPs) to develop their digital skills through NHSE’s Digital Academy.

Responsibilities will include developing the resource, testing with users and planning the launch, as well as supporting communication efforts around the new resource.

The contract will run for six months from 4 November 2024 to 3 May 2025, with a maximum value of £60,000.

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust had shared a prior information notice signalling intention to create a framework for the provision of online and digital mental health assessments, treatments and therapies across the region, with an estimated value of up to £35 million.

Another prior information notice came from Barts Health NHS Trust, highlighting plans to procure a site-wide, real-time system for the monitoring of vital signs at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.

We reported on a procurement notice from NHS England sharing intentions to extend the existing digital purchasing system (DPS) to support in digitising Lloyd George records in GP practices, with “suitably experienced and qualified suppliers” invited to join the DPS until August 2026.
