Monash IVF, a fertility service provider in Australia and South East Asia, has launched the digital patient onboarding platform powered by OX.DH’s assisted reproduction (OX.ar) technology, with the expectation that the platform will eliminate the need for around 50,000 paper forms annually.
OX.DH, a health tech start-up with links to the University of Oxford, provides cloud-native solutions aiming to digitise and integrate healthcare workflows whilst also empowering patients to become more actively empowered in their own care. OX.ar is built on Microsoft Azure and designed to digitise patient documentation, simplify the onboarding process, streamline interactions, reduce the administrative burden and enhance the overall fertility journey whilst also providing an auditable trail to support transparency and accountability. An additional benefit of digitising documentation sees the platform also contribute to Monash IVF’s environmental sustainability goals.
The partnership is said to mark “a significant milestone” in Monash IVF’s commitment to “providing patients and clinicians with a secure, optimised and intuitive experience”.
OX.DH’s founder and CEO John Kosobucki comments that the launch “gives patients the type of digital experience they are accustomed to in other aspects of their lives, such as travel, banking and retail”, and added that it is exciting to see OX.DH’s technology “play a part in making fertility care more accessible and patient centric”.
