HTN Digital ICS Playbook launches

Here at HTN we are delighted to share with you our latest playbook, available in print and online, specifically for digital integrated care systems.

Showcasing a range of vibrant health tech suppliers, we highlight digital solutions supporting the ambitions of ICSs. Through case studies, articles, learnings and solutions from suppliers, this newest publication is intended to be used as a resource to inform and educate our readers about the latest systems and products available to support organisations’ digital journeys, as well as showcasing the great work across the health tech industry.

InterSystems

InterSystems join our October playbook to showcase how three ICSs in England have joined to deliver shared care records using their platform. With data shared across 365 GP practices and a range of trusts including hospital, mental health and community, InterSystems highlight how their solution supports better care no matter the patient’s location. In addition, they share news of their new five-year partnership deal with North West London ICS, which will see the ICS introduce InterSystems Health Connect Cloud to facilitate electronic data flow between care settings.

CCube Solutions

With over 20 years of experience working with the NHS, CCube Solutions works to support trusts and health boards in realising the tangible benefits of digital transformation, with focus on patient records management. Their Electronic Document and Content Management and Workflow solutions are currently used across 30 NHS organisations to hold and manage over 50 million documents. In their addition to the playbook, CCube Solutions describe a variety of their case studies with various NHS trusts, highlighting savings, advantages and staff testimonials.

Babblevoice

Babblevoice share how integrated care systems can benefit from hosted telephony. Designed just for primary care, babblevoice includes tailor-made features to support surgeries maximise and manage patient access during the flu season. For this part of the playbook you will find a short checklist for GP surgeries to help support your ICS-wide planning for the flu season this year.

Lantum

Lantum join us to share a case study of their work addressing GP shortages with NHS Kent and Medway, with their solution providing a flexible staff pool, onboarding support for clinicians, ongoing support for GPs and administrators, and more. They highlight some of the positive feedback their work received and note how they are also supporting the trust in rolling out remote consultation services to reach rural areas. Looking to the future, Lantum share how the partnership with NHS Kent and Medway is being scaled, and how their remote consultation roll-out supports GPs and patients alike.

Nourish

Nourish Care join the playbook to outline how their digital care planning platform can be utilised in a wide variety of care settings, from nursing, to elderly care, to care for individuals with a learning disability, and more. They highlight key benefits to their platform, including their bespoke library of care plans and assessments and point of integration capabilities, and outline what they can offer you and your service, including seamless handovers, personalised timelines and bespoke reports.

Agilio – My Locum Manager

In their addition, Agilio Software describes how their technology can be used to alleviate system-wide workforce challenges. Noting that ICSs require a solution that can reduce administrative burden, facilitate long-term staff retention and cater for multiple staff types, among other factors, Agilio Software showcase how their solution, My Locum Manager, was selected by Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS to help them tackle their workforce challenges. VCreate

Secure clinical video service VCreate aims to support clinical teams with diagnosis, management and decision-making. They join us to share the benefits of their cloud-based service, co-designed with clinicians, which allows registered patients or carers to share videos and metadata with the clinical team to digitise diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making processes. With the service currently used in over 57 centres in the UK, VCreate shares stats from a recent report underlining the benefits it can bring along with comments from service users.

ORCHA

ORCHA’s contribution to the playbook details how they were commissioned by Our Dorset to assess digital health products, leading to the development of a bespoke health app library to empower the Our Dorset workforce in signposting and prescribing digital health tools. As a result, the seven ICSs involved could benefit from ORCHA’s governance and assessments, mitigating risk and providing reassurance for clinical teams that the apps they recommend to patients are safe.

Aire Innovate

New health tech solutions provider Aire Innovate, from sister company Aire Logic, join the playbook to outline their suite of products, which can be used as standalones or combined to create a platform to solve specific healthcare challenges. Whether you’re looking for support with cross-organisational data sharing, interoperability, patient engagement or process automation, Aire Innovate share how their low-code solutions can help healthcare organisations to improve their workflow efficiency and patient experience.

Open Medical

From Open Medical we hear about their team of experienced clinicians and consultants from across various NHS fields, forming a blended clinical and in-house engineering team well-placed to understand the problems facing the NHS. Describing their work in designing region-wide digital pathways and end-to-end solutions from referral to discharge, they highlight information and learnings from their work with Luton and Dunstable University NHS Trust and Our Healthier South East London ICS.
